Friday night, we were mesmerized with a new painting technique presented by Virginia Hein. Her use of Brusho to create a colored ground for her watercolors and gouache was very inspiring. Since she normally paints outdoors, she brought it inside with a lovely still life featuring a beautiful protea. The presentation was enjoyed by a large number of VHAA members, and other artists from the area.
