Many people have inquired about when we will be able to worship INDOORS in-person. According to a September 30 COVID-19 Press conference by the County of Ventura, we have some good news. According to the county officials, if we can maintain our current metrics for another week (7 DAYS) then Ventura County can move from the purple to the red tier. This means our church will be able to have indoor services with restrictions (25% capacity or 100 people - whichever is less). ...These are the same guidelines we experienced in June/July when we opened for a few weeks. I realize this is not the GREATEST news, but it still is GOOD news. If the county is able to maintain the numbers, then we can be INSIDE for a worship service as soon as October 11. Here is the link to watch for yourself: https://vimeo.com/461525607 In the meanwhile, we are having another outdoor service THIS Sunday, October 4 at 11:30 am.

We will be setting up 100 chairs after 10 am. We are getting ready for our FIRST outdoor worship service! Remember, you can enter BOTH entrances... Goodyear AND Eastman (southernmost entrance). Most of you will want to enter through Eastman. If you need handicapped parking, then come in Goodyear. All the spaces near the cafe will be marked for those with handicapped tags. Wow! This IS the day the LORD has made... and ... you guessed it... we are glad and rejoicing!

The worship team is getting some practice in for Sunday! Which song are they singing?

Look closely at the picture! We are getting ready for our first outdoor service this Sunday at 11:30 am. The platform is dis-assembled to the left! The 100 chairs are stacked and ready to be wheeled out and put into place (with social distancing). The courtesy cart is being charged for those who need a ride from their vehicle to the worship area! Cones marking handicapped parking and traffic are ready to be placed! Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes will be easily acce...ssible for those needing to take one home! Pastor Leonard's podium and stool are ready for placement! And in just a couple of hours, the worship team will be meeting to run through the music and test the sound system! Anyone who thinks that an outdoor service "just happens" is sadly mistaken! Mike Wickham is putting in MANY hours just to get the audio and visual ready for Sunday. There is lots of "behind-the-scenes" going on! The question is this: Are you coming?
