Ventura Village Carousel

So the time has come for some changes to our business. While sometimes change can be scary, it can also be for the best. Currently the physical carousel located here is listed for sale. We'd love to find a buyer in the greater Ventura area so that those people that grew up with this carousel can still enjoy it but either way it needs a new home. We are not closing the business anytime soon and are in fact working on a new fun project for the space that will encompass a wider variety of customers. We're very excited for this new venture however this also means the Carousel needs a new home. Please share this with whoever you can and lets find her a good home!

Well, here it is. Time to decide what the next step will be. If this decision upsets you, please take a moment to write a letter to the Ventura Port District and let them know how you feel. I will keep you all update as best I can with what’s going to happen.

UPDATE on the Petition: So far no real news to announce yet. This petition has garnered some attention for the local media and we've had articles written in both the VC Reporter and the VC Star. Local broadcast news station KEYT also came out and did a piece on the business as well. This means that we are reaching people and letting the Ventura Port District know that we're not just going to fade gently into the night. Tonight will be a big test, as I have printed out copi...es the signed petition to be handed out to the members of the Ventura Port District at tonight's board meeting. I will take the time the allot to me to speak about how it is my intended interest to keep the business in it's entirety, and that I'd like the opportunity to have that conversation with them. Without a lease I cannot continue my business. If you'd like to come support me tonight and say your mind, the meeting will be held at the Ventura Port District's Office located at 1603 Anchors Way, Ventura, CA 93001.
