Hi everybody, Happy Valentines Day ! I have three stations for rent and one private studio. Vena Renee spa salon in Los Gatos, is open! If you need a new salon home, give me a text @408 723- 8362 XOXO to all of you who have sent me awesome encouragement.

Safety Covid Measures We have implemented safety mandates from the state for the salon. So when you come in you’ll be greeted at the door by your stylist, she will take your temperature, You will sanitize your hands and then use a sterilized pen to sign a waiver and a questionnaire answering questions about any symptoms or experiences with Covid. You will then place the pen in a different container so it can be sterilized. Your stylist will then walk you back to her station.... We don’t have people wandering around the salon, we are only allowed one client with the stylist at a time. Our air system is very superior. We bring in fresh air from the outside and then it removes the old air. We have special filters on all vents and out take vent as well. We have the windows and doors open to dilute the air. So my suggestion to our clients is to dress in layers, because it can be colder in the salon than usual. Unfortunately we’re not serving drinks or any sort of goods to eat at this time. Also your stylist’s station and every piece of equipment including your stylist’s drapes are sanitized And they only use them on one person and then it goes into the laundry. Everything is sanitized after each use, even the shampoo bowls. Your Stylist will send you back to their chair, and then will sanitize every surface touched at the shampoo bowl so it is sanitized for the next person coming in. Lastly all stations are at least 6 feet apart. Rest assured that everyone is complying with all of the safety measures as well as we have a person in the salon that is going around and doing extra sanitizing. Trying to shut our salons down again. Unfair and Senseless capacity rules! There should be one rule, no offense John(sola owner)or to sola hairdressers. If... a Sola room is 205-250 square feet, and this is the capacity for 2 people occupancy square footage, then this is not fair for everyone else. Again no offense John, but most salons are under 500 square feet and this is another way to kill small businesses. My salon is over 3000 ft , so we are not that affected because we are not fully rented, however my friend’s salons are 600 square feet and under and would only allow one person occupancy. So she can sit in her salon alone or her client can sit alone. Make sense? Sounds fair? Come on Santa Clara county health department, let’s have a real fair , clear mandate that makes sense and doesn’t harm the one group that is trying to just pay their rent, follow all the rules and does not have one Covid case traced to salons or barbershops.
