VCS Athletic Training

We are so excited to announce that our sports medicine students finished 3rd in our division in the national high school sports medicine competition which took place on May 18, 2016. We had three students finish as All-Americans after placing in the top 25 in the individual competition. Way to go Mary Basilious, Dana Camphouse, and Jeremy Holguin!

We must give a huge congrats and shout out to VCS Sports Medicine alumni Angela Gaignard for passing the BOC examination for athletic trainers! She is officially a certified athletic trainer and she has been accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at APU. We are so proud and we will continue to cheer and pray you on! <3

Congratulations to our 13 Health and Environment Concentration and athletic training students, who earned a program-best fifth place out of 44 teams (667 studen...ts from California, Michigan, Virginia, Washington, and Kansas) at the St. Francis High School Sports Medicine Competition. Senior Dana Camphouse took second in the Student Athletic Trainer of the Year competition, also a first for VCS.
