Our new Medical Director. Dr Hall has been looking over pictures from the start of her career at Camino in 2012. What a fun ride it’s been. She is looking forward to many years to come and many pocket puppies to meet.
After 42 years at Camino, our founder, medical director, friend and mentor Dr. Frier is retiring. If you know Dr. Frier, you know he'd prefer riding into the sunset quietly with no fuss but we wanted to let you know that his last day will be Tuesday 11/24/20. He has made his mark in the Conejo Valley as a family vet for more than four decades, caring for many generations of pets and their owners and donating his resources to local police dogs and charities. Dr. Frier is excit...ed to explore the next chapter of his life, spending time with his wife, daughters and six grandchildren, mountain biking and traveling the country in his RV. We are excited to announce that Dr. Stacy Hall will be assuming the role of Medical Director. She has been an associate veterinarian with Camino for 8 years, after graduating UC Davis in 2012, and is looking forward to leading Camino's team. Dr. Chelsea Cummings is also continuing as an associate veterinarian and has been with our practice for 3 years after graduating from St. George University in 2017 All of us at Camino wish Dr. Frier and his family many years of health and happiness We will miss you
We recently celebrated staff appreciation week and had a little Camino get together with pumpkin decorating. We’ve had an amazing team effort to keep going through COVID, working our very best to help all of our clients and patients. We’ve continued to be very busy through all of this and just want to shout out to the amazing staff for staying positive and working together for our furry patients.
We know you’re so excited to go on some autumn nature walks with your dog, but for this #FallSafetyTip, make sure you watch out for snakes, some of which can be venomous! They’re preparing for hibernation and may be a little crankier if disturbed by a curious pet! When walking or hiking, if something happens to your pet, be sure to contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. #VCApets
Puppy to the left: Hey. Hey, you over there. What's your name? Puppy to the right: You're not my mom.
Cats are going to do what they want to do. No complaints here.
If a puppy can rest in your arms while you work, it's a good day .
Some smiles are just too hard to cover up
This is a perfect picture of a pup that is VERY pleased with himself and of a human that is just a sucker for puppy love.
Sheri says, "Puppy kisses are the best kisses." We totally agree.
To snuggle or not to snuggle, that is the question. The answer is always snuggle.
If you've got a pet with adorable ears, we want to see them! This little one sparked a wave of love in our hospital as soon as he came through our doors. In times like these we'd like to keep that going.
Even puppies are abiding by the distance rule #notouchie
This is the cutest snoot to boop.
When Dr. Frier sees a pup there's no way he's not giving it a hug! This is Dr. Frier's happy place
