I have sent this information a couple of days ago through Evite but in case some of you missed that here you go . On behalf of the Visalia Breakfast Rotary Club, President Mark Brackett had the honor to present two Golden Eagle Leadership Awards to Jayden Mendoza and Tristen Contreras students from Annie R. Mitchell Elementary School. The Golden Eagle Leadership Awards recognize two 6th grade students who demonstrated academic accomplishments, leadership, and good character. These students exhibited outstanding citizenship. President Mark Brackett also presented both students, Jayden & Tristan with a bike and helmet for their achievement from the Visalia Breakfast Rotary Club. This is what it's all about..... seeing students motivated, becoming leaders and setting a great example to their fellow students.

Hello VB Rotarians, We have 1 last most important project to complete this year as we have for 20 plus years and that is to actually deliver the bikes we purchased & assembled to a deserving child for Christmas! If you have participated in the past you know the reward of seeing a smiling child receiving a bike, it is truly a rewarding activity/experience. If you have not participated then take the time to come and see for yourself, I know you will be humbled and full of grati...tude for what Visalia Breakfast Rotary does in your community with the help of Iris and VEAC. We all are aware that this year is the most difficult in the continuing wake of serious COVID conditions leading to increased unemployment, children out of school all across our communities. VEAC donates many other essential items to families that they may not be able to afford for themselves . VEAC will be practicing safety and distancing and it is every Rotarian’s responsibility to do the same so we and our community families can return home as safe as possible. Go to Visalia Emergency Aid Council this Saturday Dec 19 from 9-12. Please let Iris know if you can make it for planning purposes. Hello Fellow Rotarians, I just wanted to reach out and see who can help out with the Bike Assembly at CVBF this Saturday, December 12th at 8:00AM. We will only be assembling 58 bikes so the more peeps we have the faster it will go! Please let me know by Wednesday if you would, I have to order breakfast burrito’s for everyone.... Please note: wear a mask if you wish, and we will set up 6 feet apart. Hello All, As we come to a close on this difficult year, we are excited to announce something that we can all look forward to. The Holiday Rotary Family Event. This is a very special event and opportunity for everyone to get together, meet your fellow Rotarians from other clubs while enjoying a classic holiday movie, delicious desserts, and beverages with your family and friends. ... Please send recommendations of your favorite holiday movies that you and your children would like to see that will put everyone into the holiday spirit. We encourage everyone to bring your spouses, children, or grandkids so that we can all celebrate the holiday season and focus on what is most important, family, and helping out each other, and giving back to our community.
