Jess and Sean’s wedding was one for the books! This is the third wedding I flew out for since COVID began! I will continue to shoutout to southwest for how they’re handling everything with the virus. They’re one of the last airlines that keep the middle seat open. If you need to fly during this time, I highly recommend flying with southwest.

Happy Tuesday! It’s been a busy fall for weddings, but I am so grateful that wedding season is almost over! As much as I love photographing weddings, It’s also great to have a break to spend time not just capturing memories, but making them as well.

The perfect wedding photographer is so much more than someone who takes nice photos. It’s important to know what you’re looking for in a photographer. Countless times I’ve had to help fix a dress, pin boutonnieres, move the schedule around because of X Y or Z, or other unexpected jobs of a wedding photographer. Yes, I still capture everything I need to capture for your big day, but a big priority of mine is to make wedding days run smooth and keep the stress levels down! This is a day of enjoyment and reminiscing, not of chaos and stress. Sure, there still may be chaos and stress, but my goal is to keep that away from the bride and groom as much as possible! Here’s a shot my second shooter @jadenikkolephoto caught last year of me spur the moment fixing a brides dress.

Friday’s wedding was nothing short of incredible! The rain we were supposed to get never hit and the weather was a perfect temperature!

While I was in California I went on one of the most awkward dates I ever had. The guy and I sat on the beach watching the sunset and he didn’t say a word. So, me hating awkward silences decided to talk about how much I love the rocks on the beaches on the west coast... for a solid 10 minutes. So here I am telling you guys how much I love the rock formations on beaches on the west coast.

The last two weeks have been crazy for me. I’ve been pushing 8-15 hour work days everyday. I’ve been catching up on editing and working on new projects. I can’t wait to be back in California for vacation in less than 3 weeks!

I already had a post planned for today, but that got interrupted becauseee... MY SISTER GOT ENGAGED! I am over the moon happy because Tyler has been a huge blessing not just to my sister, but my entire family. I am so excited to finally have a brother in law. I couldn’t have picked a better man for my sister.

Everything about Andrea and Dimitri’s wedding last month was perfect! The mixture of a Colombian and Greek wedding made out to be one crazy party!

I love seeing who all my couples have in their bridal party. The bridal party allows everyone else at the wedding to get a better picture of who the couple is and sometimes they’re personalities reflect the bridal party.

I’ve been meaning to post for such a long time, but once I photograph another session I feel like I can’t post till I finish that session. It turns into a viscous cycle and y’all end up not seeing me post. So here’s to not caring so much about being strategic with my posting and just doing it! With only two days left till I leave for California, I am hard at work packing, photographing last minute sessions, and finishing editing all the photos I’ve taken recently! I can’t wait to get out to California and be able to share with y’all the trip!

After the craziness of last weekend I am finally settling down! Last minute this week I got the chance to go to the beach in New Jersey. As much as I love vacations, I have a large to-do list to complete while I’m here. Anyone else never truly get a real vacation?

Gearing up for a fun packed weekend! Shooting three different types of sessions. I am so happy with how diverse my job can be and the people I work with.

Even though my passion is my job, it’s sometimes hard to relax even when I’m photographing for a friend or planning a party. It’s easy to see photography as a hobby, passion, and work regardless of the situation I’m using it for. That’s why It’s important to have things you enjoy that aren’t associated with work. I for instance love to watch tv shows and movies. I’ve probably seen the office at least 11 times over. What are you passionate about that also let’s you unwind and relax?

As I mentioned, I was in Puerto Rico last week! Not only was this trip amazing, but I added a new piece of equipment to my business! I am now offering drone shots to my sessions! That is of course within the rules and regulations of the venues/areas. I want to be able to offer a new perspective to the wedding day and/or places. This shot was taken last week in Puerto Rico and I am in awe with how photography has changed over the years to allow me to send a camera in the sky in order to get shots like this! Anyways, I’m excited to be able to offer this new service to my photography!

On top of going out of town next week, I am bringing this beautiful model and lots of outfits for some amazing photo shoots while we are gone! Go to my stories to see the un-edited version of this photo!

Small business Saturday and I’m still not trying to sell you anything! I’m not super big on holidays, in fact I’m not a fan. I’d rather give gifts and show gratefulness on September 18th! A year and a week ago they said I do. One week ago they reclaimed their love in front of their loved ones. I am so excited to have been a part of Anna and Nicks love story!

Just a few short weeks left until my wedding season is over. It’s a bittersweet feeling, but I am ready for the winter!

Even though the rain worked perfectly for this lovely couples wedding, I am not looking forward to Friday and Saturday being rainy!

It’s Monday, the first start to the week. Although last week for me started off not so great, today has been completely the opposite! In reality, I really just had an awesome workout. What makes your Mondays better?

Grateful for all this day had been second shooting for @jaredladiaweddings. Not only was the whole day a dream, but out of nowhere a double rainbow appeared to make the day even more amazing.

What I’m starting to do is tell myself this is your work and you need to be proud of the gift God has given you. What do you do to motivate yourself to do something that you fear?
