23 years ago when Van der Stähl Scientific was a young company in a small mountain office.

Excited to report that our HTIP (human tissue isolation pouch) received patent approval this morning from the USPTO, I have been working on this for about 3 years now. This system is designed to allow packagers of human tissue to isolate the packaging equipment from the human tissue in order to thwart contamination. Our hope on this new device is to firewall cross-contamination and infections with the goal of better patient outcomes.

Happy to say we have been a great resource for our medical device packaging customers with our ISO-17025 empirical pouch testing lab. This is a great way for medical device manufactures to avoid incestuous data developed during their packaging validation.
