This weekend isn’t just an extended break, it’s a time to honor those who sacrificed all to give us our freedom. The centerpiece of our Memorial Festival is always the Memorial Wall, which honors servicemen and women who fought for this great country. We miss gathering friends and families from far and wide to pay tribute to our strong and brave military members. #VCStampede #ValleyCenterStampede

Tonight we’re missing the rodeo action that usually fills our little town. From catching t-shirts, to watching cowboys buck out broncs, to dancing the night away with live music, there’s a lot to love about our hometown Valley Center Stampede Rodeo & Memorial Festival. Due to the changing circumstances surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, the Valley Center Stampede Rodeo & Memorial Festival has decided that it would not be possible to put on a rodeo in 2020. After much deliberation, we feel that it is not only too much to ask of our sponsors, most of which have been greatly affected by COVID-19 shutdowns, but also too much risk for our fans, contestants, and personnel. We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization and all of our proceeds go direct...ly back to the community of Valley Center through youth events, scholarships, our rodeo queen program, and much more. Even without our annual rodeo, we are continuing to uphold our tradition of giving by awarding scholarships to the hardworking youth of our community.
