Solano County’s second large-scale COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday February 12th and Saturday February 13th in Vallejo. Vaccinations are available by appointment only for 4,000 Solano County residents who meet the eligibility requirements. This currently includes health care workers, first responders, and Solano County residents over the age of 75. Those without access to the internet may call 707-784-8655 for registration assistance. Since 1969, Parents Anonymous has provided weekly evidence-based support groups for parents, children and youth nationwide.

Solano County Office of Education will be hosting an Art is Power Speaker Series! It is a collection of workshops coordinated by SCOE YD and hosted by various local, state and national artists. Workshops will focus on a different form of art including: painting, hip hop and songwriting, photography, graphic design, and much more. Artists will talk about technique, process and about using art to further one's cause. Art can be a powerful tool and helps build resiliency, and r...esilient youth are less likely to partake in risky behaviors (such as using alcohol, tobacco and other drugs).
