Solano County’s second large-scale COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday February 12th and Saturday February 13th in Vallejo. Vaccinations are available by appointment only for 4,000 Solano County residents who meet the eligibility requirements. California Parent & Youth Helpline Emotional support for families challenged by the pressures of COVID-19 Parents Anonymous Inc. launched the California Parent & Youth Helpline in partnership with Governor Gavin Newsom as part of his initiative to address the impacts of COVID-19. Since 1969, Parents Anonymous has provided weekly evidence-based support groups for parents, children and youth nationwide.

Solano County Office of Education will be hosting an Art is Power Speaker Series! It is a collection of workshops coordinated by SCOE YD and hosted by various local, state and national artists. Workshops will focus on a different form of art including: painting, hip hop and songwriting, photography, graphic design, and much more. Artists will talk about technique, process and about using art to further one's cause. Art can be a powerful tool and helps build resiliency, and r...esilient youth are less likely to partake in risky behaviors (such as using alcohol, tobacco and other drugs).
