This week (Feb 2 - Feb 5) is Interfaith Harmony Week at UC Davis! The Interfaith Campus Council invites you to join your friends in faith, meet new friends, and have fun at these virtual events throughout the week.

In partnership with other members of the Interfaith Campus Council at UCD, the Unitarian Universalist Campus Community released the following statement: The Interfaith Campus Council is deeply grieved by the events at our nation’s capitol on Wednesday January 6, 2021. Our shared commitment to the hope of harmonious democracy is unwavering. As such, we denounce white supremacy in all its forms, especially its propensity for violence and terror. Across all of our traditions, r...espect for human life is paramount, and we send our condolences to the families of those who were injured or killed in the siege. We know that the ongoing civil unrest across our nation, coupled with the worsening pandemic, has students anxious and afraid. Did you miss the Interfaith Candlelight Vigil on Monday night to kick off Interfaith Harmony Week? Here are a few highlights from the event! We were joined by L...EVN - the Lutheran Episcopal Volunteer Network volunteers from the Belfry and the Unitarian Universalist Campus Ministry, Davis. Students participated in a pipe cleaner activity, starting with a pipe cleaner of same color beads, after talking with the other students about what community means to them, they each exchanged a bead. By the end everyone had a multi-color pipe cleaner reflective of the diversity of community!
