A storm system will begin to move across the area on Friday afternoon and into Friday evening. Snow will likely begin accumulating at elevations above 4,000 fee...t during the evening and overnight hours over Northern Trinity County. 10-25-2020 Update for Slater Devil Fires, Klamath National Forest #KlamathNF
Effective October 23, 2020 Region-wide fire restrictions have been extended through October 30, 2020. The restrictions prohibit using a fire, campfire, stove or smoking on National Forest land. However there is an exemption which allows a portable lantern or stove using gas, jellied petroleum or pressurized liquid fuel to be used within an open Developed Recreation Site.
