UEBW will open its doors on Wednesday, July 1st. YAY!!!! Clients who were cancelled at the beginning of the COVID shutdown will be given first priority in rescheduling their appointments as they have been waiting the longest. As calls have come in to request services, a wait list has been created and as such, clients will be scheduled in order of their request. To control the flow of requests, the website and my booking site are still temporarily suspended. RE-OPENING UPDATE: Governor Newsom has lifted the state mandate for personal care services, including esthetic services, starting on Friday, June 19th. as part of the opening of Phase 3 of the Resiliency Roadmap to Recovery. However, county/city mandates now take precedent and those are still in place for LA County. UEBW will NOT be opening on that day. ... RE-OPENING UPDATE: Loyal Clients & Friends, The health and safety of our guests is our top priority. For that reason, we are following the advice of our state and local government as well as the CDC. Our doors are still temporarily closed but not our business. The website is going through some changes so this platform is a great way to stay in touch. My licensure is issued by the BBC-Board of Barbering and Cosmetology which is in turn controlled/governed by the state Department of Consumer Affairs. All state regulations or rulings supersede county or city decisions in operations. State Governor Newsom has deemed esthetics, my type of work or category, to be Higher Risk and as so, is positioned in Phase 3 of the California Resilience Roadmap (gov.ca.gov) for re-opening. Phase 3 is now starting to open up in some California counties. Unfortunately, there are several counties NOT allowed to move further into reopening at this time.
