Quitting can be challenging, especially with the added social and economic stress that have come as a result of the pandemic, but there are a lot of reasons to quit. Worldwide around 780 million people say they want to quit, but only 30% of them have access to the tools that can help them do so. Together with partners, WHO will provide people with the tools and resources they need to make a successful quit attempt. Stress is real and can have a negative impact on your oral health. If you're experiencing stress-related clenching, jaw pain or grinding your teeth, wearing a mouthguard at night could help prevent a dental emergency. From the ABC article... "Breaking of the teeth is just a symptom of the mental health issue, which is just kind of manifesting in the mouth. And we have to very quickly deal with this because it is an epidemic of its own kind."... Dr. Mueller says, "We can't make the stress go away, but there are things people can do to protect their teeth. We'd rather do that than fix it after it's broken." Mueller says headaches, facial pain, a sore jaw, and even loose teeth are all signs of clenching and grinding at night and even during the day.

We're happy to announce new office hours that will give our guests and staff more flexibility. We are now open 7:00am to 6:30pm Monday through Friday and 7:00am to 1:00pm on Saturdays! *Please note that Saturday hours may vary so please confirm ahead when scheduling.
