Ok, I did say I would do more post when I had some time. Who the hell has time . After spending the last few months focusing on being here for the puppies during their critical socialization period. We wanted to let everybody know we are opening up for more Embark & Elements classes. Also figured we needed to have some fun so added our Go Over Rover (Agility) & Scents & Scent-ability classes. Ok, I am going to post this and possibly get some shit but stop walking your dogs everyday, make sure to leave the house without them and if you are still crate training make sure to have them spend time in their crates everyday. I am thinking good thought that this will pass and most of you will go back to your normal routine and back to work and if you have not done the above things some of your pups will freak out. Every year in September we get a ton of calls about dogs ...with separation anxiety and very few are real SA cases. Most are due to the fact the family has been home and spending a ton of time with their pups or just hanging out at home and your pups get used to this new routine over the summer months. Then within a few days it changes the kids are back in school, you go back to work and your pups are home alone wondering why things have changed. You may come home to your sofa di-stuffed, you drywall chewed, your socks shredded and a very stressed pup. See more
