Please help us in congratulating Alberto Trujillo, our June 2021 Employee of the Month. He is the winner of a $100 Walmart gift card and the coveted Employee of the Month parking spot! Alberto is an excellent example of a hard worker. He has been with us since 2006 and gives 110% in everything he does. He is also always willing to help in any department. Recently he has taken on the task of becoming a pallet machine operator. In his new role as machine operator, he has consistently been the highest producing builder to run a machine yet. We are proud to have him on the UP team. Congrats Trujillo!!!!

Help us congratulate Bernardo Rivera, our May Employee of the Month! Bernardo has become the example of a quality employee. He has shown excellent drive and ability to adapt. Over the past year, he has worked his way up from forklift operator, to Loader, and then to Dismantle supervisor. Bernardo has taken control of his department and is molding it into a more organized department. He is hard working and willing to put the time in to get things done. Congratulations Bernardo...thanks for being a part of our team!

We are pleased to announce Santiago Vega has been selected as April's Employee of the Month! Santiago is a Cutter in our Denailing area and has been an employee since 1986! Santiago is a fantastic employee. He is always on time, works well with everyone, does a great job training others, and is very skilled at his work.

Meet our Production Manager, Lucy Jorge! Lucy is not only an amazing Production Manager, she is an incredible woman in so many other ways. Always eager to help, learn, and grow, she has been involved in playing and coaching soccer with her son Brandon while her other son Logan tagged along! She enjoys spending time with family and is so excited to welcome her first grandson arriving in May. She has always been a go-getter, having experience working as a pharmacy tech, a bank employee, and for an eye doctor. She greatly values helping people and making her family her top priority. We are so grateful to have Lucy on our team!

Congratulations to Felipe Lopez, our August Employee of the Month winner! He is the winner of the $100 Walmart gift card and the coveted Employee of the Month prime parking spot! Felipe has been a team member since 2004 (over 16 years) and works as a cutter in our resaw/mill area! According to his supervisor, He does not miss work and always does what is asked of him with a positive attitude. In addition to that, he makes teamwork a priority and tries to put others first. Congratulations Felipe!

Congrats to Oscar G! He was our first winner of a $50 gift card during Safe & Sound Week! Oscar was caught helping one of our vendors safely maneuver their truck through a very tight spot in our plant just so that the vendor and everyone else were safe. The vendor even came to the office to brag on Oscar and his concern for safety! #safeandsoundatwork #palletsmovetheworld

We are a little behind on this one, but a BIG CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Ricardo Castro, he was selected as July’s Employee of the Month! Ricardo is one of our delivery drivers who make sure that our wood products arrive safely to our customers each and every day. He has a positive attitude, makes teamwork a priority, is always helpful and puts others first. He has a habit of teaching others as well as going above and beyond. He is always ready for the next task. Ricardo has worked at United Pallet Services since 1988, so he has been a part of our team for over 32 years!

Congratulations our June Employee of the Month, Antonio Aguilar! Antonio has a very positive attitude and has a desire to learn new things. He has a habit of trying to teach others and goes above and beyond without asking. He takes pride in his work and is willing to jump around and work in other departments when asked. Antonio has worked at United Pallet Services since 2006, so he has been a part of our team for over 14 years! Glad to have him as part of our team!

We are excited to announce that our May Employee of the Month is none other than our very own Thomas Breunig. Tommy has worked for United Pallet Services for almost 21 years! He is a great worker who is known for not just doing his job, but making sure that it is done right...the first time. Congrats Tommy, thanks for being part of our team!

We are thrilled to announce that our April Employee of the Month is Samuel (Sammy) Perez! Sammy is one of our mechanics that keeps our fleet of forklifts going and our trailers in great shape. He demonstrates and lives out our core values daily and always has a positive attitude. In addition to that, he also helps promote safety awareness. Good job Sammy!

Like everyone, you have been bombarded with a lot of negative news this week. So, here is some GOOD NEWS that we wanted to share. This is Ruben Gonzalez. He is a driver for United Pallet Services and was just awarded with our March Employee of the Month award! Ruben is a devoted employee, a team-player, and always goes above and beyond to chip in where ever he can. Congratulations Ruben...thank you for your hard work.
