Hi Everyone, we have a person in Brawley that is donating a love seat to a family that is leaving a shelter and moving to an apartment in El Centro. Would there be a kind soul out there that could volunteer to haul it down to El Centro this week? Thanks!

Free PPE to be distributed from noon today at the Fairgrounds in Imperial. Use the south entrance and proceed to the livestock barn area. There are masks, disinfectant, face shields and more. Take advantage of this opportunity to protect yourself, your business, your customers and your friends!!!

Walmart is supporting your local United Way by giving shoppers the opportunity to round-up their purchases to the nearest $ and donate the change. Round-up is available on WalMart.com and the Walmart app through Jan. 29. Your round-up will go to your local United Way, help us help those who need it most!

Good morning, In an effort to better understand the attitudes and needs of our community as it relates to COVID-19 vaccination, the Imperial County Public Health Department has crafted a short survey that should take a few minutes to complete. The survey is through survey monkey and available in both English and Spanish languages. The County must use these funds by December 30th, or they risk losing them.

Imperial County has set up a COVID-19 Electricity Relief Program. You may qualify for assistance if you have been financially impacted by the Pandemic. The program may cover up to $1000 in IID billings. We have copies of the application available, give us a call at 760 355-4900. We can print it out for you or email an application, don't wait, this is a first come-first served program and will end by the end of December. Due to the holiday schedule, if we don't answer the phone, please leave a CLEAR message and we will get back to you ASAP.
