You still have a few days to get in on the fun and "Run With The Law" on June 26th at 8 am in Lower Bidwell Park on the standard 5k loop. Packet pick-up for the race will be at Fleet Feet Chico on Friday June 25th from 12-5. Fleet Feet is located at 241 Main St. If you can't make it on Friday, you may pick up on race morning beginning at 7 am. We still need a few volunteers for race morning. This isn't another run in the park ... it's a beautiful Sunday morning run with the almond trees in full bloom! Hello Frost or Foggers, I just wanted to check in with everyone on a couple of things. First though, I just wanted to thank all of you for signing up for the event. It has been great seeing all of your results come in and seeing some of you out on the course doing your thing. That has been very uplifting to me. I can't thank you guys enough. Hopefully our next event will be an in-person one and not a virtual one. I'm currently waiting for my permit for the Trail Less Tr...aveled to be approved. Keep your fingers crossed. I placed the jacket order on Monday for those who registered after 1/6/21. Those should be ready in a couple of weeks and I will schedule another jacket pick up then. For those who registered on or before 1/6/21 and haven't picked your jackets up yet you can either wait until the next jacket pick up mentioned above or you can contact me directly and we can coordinate a time for you to pick up your jacket from me. For those folks out of the Chico area who have contacted me to have your jackets sent to you, I hope to have them mailed by this weekend. If any of you need any assistance posting your results just let me know. You can log in to RunSignUp and then go to your profile and look at the Frost or Fog and you should see a link to post virtual results. If you have any issues, let me know. Today was a great day to kick off the Virtual Frost or Fog. It was so uplifting to see all of the runners out there on the course. I love our running community and hope that those folks who run over the next 8 days have as much fun as the folks that I saw out there today. I've had a number of people ask me how to find their bib number. You can see it if you log into RunSignUp and look at the Frost or Fog. However, to make it easy I created a pdf with everyone in it and their bib number. Hopefully this works for everyone. I had to share it as a jpg file here. If you have any issues, let me know. I truncated last names for privacy but the first 3 letters of the last names are there. You will need your bib number when you set up RaceJoy.

Guess What??? We (Nikki & Julie) have big exciting news! Remember back in August when we said we were going to close UTSE? Well, it turns out someone thought that wasn't such a good idea :) We have reached an agreement to sell the business to Jeff and Jenni Merrell!! If you don't already know Jeff and Jenni, they are avid Chico area runners with a passion for the sport and drive to continue the 13+ year run of Under the Sun Events! We will be working closely with Jeff and Jen...ni in 2021 as they take over the day to day running of the business. They are really looking forward to sharing many more finish line celebrations, awards ceremonies, personal records, cheers, tears, sweat, and laughter with all of you in the running community. Jeff and Jenni are very excited to continue the UTSE races (Frost or Fog, Trail Less Traveled & Paradise Trail Runs) as well as providing the best timing services for our North State race directors. The COVID-19 pandemic has sure shifted our industry and impacted our business significantly. Things may look a little different when we get back to it but we (Nikki and Julie) are so grateful to Jeff and Jenni for seeing the value of what UTSE has brought to the community and their eagerness to continue the tradition. We sincerely hope that you will support them in their new adventure as we know they will provide the high level of service that you've come to expect from Under the Sun Events.
