This is our sneak peek of our super awesome burn victim dog we rescued today. Her name is Ember and she’s only about a year and a half old. She was in a terrible homeless camp shed fire. This was her very first bath and before her very first garment dressing! watch for lots of updates from her amazing foster family the Lancasters

11dogs saved yesterday, great way to roll in the month! We could not do what we do without these beautiful people who devote their time, energy and love into saving these pups! It’s not easy or glamorous, but it is so rewarding! Become a foster parent and feel what what we all feel! We did take on 11 dogs who all need full vetting which adds up and 2 of the 11 are medical Dogs. We are a volunteer tan effort running just on donations so any donations do truly count!

Meet Nouvelle the shy brindle lover terrier girl. She only weighs 25lb and is very timid. She needs to be a second dog or in a pack. She lacks confidence likely from being dumped in the country as a feral puppy with no one to teach her love is ok. She waited over 10mo at the shelter with no progress. In foster care she enjoys life, loves to cuddle in blankets, sunbathe and hang out. She is easy going, loves attention once she trust you, but still isnt ready to be touched much unless on her own terms. She would do best a quiet laid back house hold with no young kids. She is house trained, quiet and wants to please. She will be no trouble at all just needs time and experience. She is continuing to blossom more daily and has nothing but potential.

Pearl is a gentle, timid mama dog looking for a safe, quiet home where she will be on the receiving end of a lot of love and companionship. The right family for her will be patient and dedicated to helping her feel safe so that she can relax into the wonderful companion dog she is meant to be. Pearl came from the shelter soon after having puppies. She was terrified of everything and refused to leave her crate, but over a few weeks has become attached to her foster mom and hou...se; however, she is likely to need significant time before she completely comes out of her shell. The right people for her will be patient and willing to build a relationship with her over the long term and will be rewarded with an amazing companion who has the most beautiful brown eyes and softest coat. Pearl does well in the house and loves to spend her days lounging on her bed while her foster mom works. She also goes to "school" on zoom with a first grader. She has been living with two kids in her foster home and does well with them though is not playful. She would be fine with respectful kids who give her space. She is interested in dogs and could be a second dog. Pearl enjoys walks but is very afraid of street noises, so a quiet neighborhood would be best for her while she learns how to navigate the outside world. Pearl is really a gem. Though she is timid and terrified, she is always gentle and approachable and has never reacted with any aggression. She just needs the right people and environment to blossom.

Here is sweet little buttons now as a tripod! We are having to double coneher during the day so that she doesn’t rip out her staples since she is definitely up, happy and moving around. That bum leg is no longer slowing her down. And just a few weeks she will be ready for a forever home! Thank you to everyone who donated we did raise just over half of what was needed

Buffy is a very aloof 6 months old Basenji/Chi mix. She was a stray puppy, injured & scraping by to survive. She is very timid & skittish of people, she is scared to be approached & will scurry away. But she is very dog friendly & will require a very gentle, playful sibling or pack to learn from & help make her comfortable in her home. She is working on potty training but is only comfortable with the open door option at this point. Buffy is still going through the puppy stage... of playful nibbling, picking up shoes, glasses & the remote control to chew on but is easily redirected with a soft voice & a dog toy/bone. While decompressing she is perfecting how to be a couch potato, the rest of the time she is playing with dogs her same size & snuggling up against bigger dogs for security. Buffy will require a family that is adopting a dog to give them love, not the other way around at 1st. It will take many months of time, patience, positive encouragement, understanding & constant love from her people & assistance from their pups to help her grow into a confident family pet. A loud, chaotic environment will hinder her progress. She is a super sweet little girl that will be well worth it to her perfect match. REQUIRES; another friendly & playful dog or pack! See more
