The retail portion of Ume is now open! M-F 12-5pm, "Flowers Oakland" will be selling fresh flowers, organic produce, masks, our own small batch hand sanitizer, CBD products, and other sundries. We also have snacks and bottled drinks and COVID compliant outdoor seating, please come by and check out our offering!

While we at Ume have been working to find a way to keep the business alive during the SIP. We want to thank our members, teachers, and entire Ume Ohana for support in these extraordinary times. We monitor the Alameda County Website daily and are prepared to implement the appropriate COVID-19 mitigation measures when we have some indication operations will be permitted to resume. Stay safe !

This is a friendly reminder to pause and take a few deep breaths. Did you know that yoga can boost your body’s production of oxytocin and endorphins, two hormones essential to cultivating happiness, health and feelings of calmness. Deep breathing also triggers the parasympathetic nervous system which promotes healthy digestion and relaxation. Inhale for 4 counts, exhale for 4 counts. Repeat for at least 1 minute. Feel better?
