Good Morning! During Kids and Community break out time last Sunday, we planted and prayed! Take a picture and look very carefully at your seeds!! Zoom in on them like a magnifying glass!! What do you see? A gift? Excitement? Anticipation? Share what you see, how it makes you feel and what it reminds you of.

Easter Sunday: We celebrate Christ in our Midst! Join us in our final quest! And thanks for being a part of #WhollyHolyWeekQuest.... Read: Matthew 28:6-8 The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has been raised from the dead, and indeed he is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see him.' This is my message for you." So they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy, and ran to tell Jesus' disciples. Ponder: How do you celebrate Easter, Christ in our midst? Quest: What are your favorite Easter traditions? Share one of them with a photo, drawing, video, or written description. Love your Neighbor: Connect to family or friends today. Share with them the story of your traditions and ask them about theirs. Post your pictures, descriptions, and reflections with the hashtag #WhollyHolyWeekQuest on the ULC Facebook page or Instagram.

Holy Saturday: Waiting for the long night to pass. Join us in today's quest! Read: Lamentations 3:21-24... Excerpt: But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of Yahweh never ceases, God's mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faighrulness. "Yahweh is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in God." Ponder: We know that Easter comes tomorrow. And we are in the midst of uncertain waiting in other ways. How do you wait? Quest: What is an activity you do to help you wait? Share a sample of how you wait in the way it works best (written, video, audio, photo). Love your Neighbor: This is a time when we are all uncertain and waiting. Help someone you know with their waiting. Invite someone to join you in a game online, schedule a call with someone you haven't spoken to in a while, write a card or note to a health care worker you know or know of, share a song with someone. What else could you do? Send: Post your pictures, descriptions, and reflections with the hashtag #WhollyHolyWeekQuest on the ULC Facebook page or Instagram.

Good Friday: We grieve, we grieve. Join us in today's quest! Read: Psalm 22... Excerpt: My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry by day, but you do not answer; and by night, but find no rest. Ponder: On Good Friday, we grieve for Jesus. Who or what else are you grieving in your lives right now? Quest: Write a poem, describe, draw, or share a song about what you are grieving right now. What are you missing and what do you long for? Love your Neighbor: Check-in with others - your friends and family - about their grieving. Just listen to their responses. Post your pictures, descriptions, and reflections with the hashtag #WhollyHolyWeekQuest on the ULC Facebook page or Instagram.

Maundy Thursday: Caring for Each Other and Ourselves Join us in today's quest! Read: John 13:1-17 ... Excerpt: Jesus, knowing that God had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going to God, got up from the table, took off his outer robe, and tied a towel around himself. Then Jesus poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was tied around him. Ponder: Handwashing is a way that we care for ourselves and all others around us. What are other ways you can care for yourselves and others? Quest: Take a video of yourself or a family member handwashing. If you can't take a video, talk about the smell of the soap you use, the temperature of the water, the feel of the cloth with which you dry your hands. Love your Neighbor: What are the ways you are loving neighbor through your everyday actions right now? Are you washing your hands more than usual? Are you going out less? Are you going out to your workplace because your work is needed as service to others? Other ways? Send: Post your pictures, descriptions, and reflections with the hashtag #WhollyHolyWeekQuest.

Holy Wednesday: The voices that stand out. Join us in today's quest! Read: Hebrews 12:1-3... Excerpt: Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us. Ponder: This passage speaks of the cloud of witnesses. Which voices do you most pay attention to in your life? Quest: Consider the voices you hear every day (media, friends, family, Facebook, etc.) Choose one to focus on more, and one to avoid. Share your choice and any reflections you have. Love your Neighbor: Consider the voices you share with the world. What is one thing you would like to share with others? Choose a way to share it, whether it is in a Facebook post, in a call to a friend, with someone in your home, or even writing yourself a note to remind yourself later. Send: Post your pictures, descriptions, and reflections with the hashtag #WhollyHolyWeekQuest.

Holy Tuesday: In you O Lord I take my refuge. Join us in today's quest! Read: Psalm 71:1-14... Excerpt: In you, O Lord, I take refuge; let me never be put to shame. In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; incline your ear to me and save me. Be to me a rock of refuge, a strong fortress, to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. Ponder: What does refuge mean for you? Quest: Share or create a place of refuge or sanctuary in your home (maybe a pillow fort?), find a picture of such a place online, or describe your place of spiritual refuge or sanctuary. Love your Neighbor: If you are able, reach out to a friend or neighbor and offer yourself as refuge or sanctuary. Do an act of friendship: call and listen to someone, help someone. Or thank someone who has done the same for you. Post your pictures, descriptions, and reflections tagged with #WhollyHolyWeekQuest on the ULC Facebook or Instagram pages.
