For many caregivers and people living with dementia, it can be a struggle to get to dementia care expertise. To help, researchers at the Memory and Aging Center at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) developed the Care Ecosystem a collaborative dementia care program delivered over the phone. Our vision was to develop a dementia care model using telehealth to reach all people living with dementia wherever they were and when they needed the help, said Katherine L. Possin, PhD, Associate Professor of Neurology and Director of the Care Ecosystem at UCSF.
