The UCSF Dyslexia Phenotyping study is currently seeking families with children, ages 7-14, who do not have learning differences to participate in our study looking at how language abilities develop in the brain. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to contribute to science and learn about how their brain works. Participants can earn up to $100 and will receive a picture of their brain. If you are interested in participating, please reach out to the study's coordinator at [email protected].

Do you have children WITHOUT learning differences of ages 7-13? Do you want to know your child’s strengths and weakness in detail? If so, the UCSF Dyslexia Center currently has a fantastic opportunity for your family. As many of you know, we have been doing cutting edge research on learning differences in children for over the past 2 years. Our research hopes to find out the unique strengths of kids with learning differences and how these can be used to create new interventi...ons to help them. We are now providing the same opportunity to those without learning differences. We ask that children come in for one full day of testing or two half days, but can be flexible with our time commitment if needed. Children can earn up to $80 in compensation for their time, and parking will also be reimbursed. If you are interested or have questions, please contact us by emailing [email protected]. Please share other families that you think may be interested. In the meantime, if you are interested in learning more about what we do, please visit our website at dyslexia.ucsf.edu!
