The registration deadline for the 16th Summer Institute on Migration and Global Health is June 10, 2021. Don't miss it! The near 300 million international migrants and refugees worldwide are at high risk of the disproportionate burden from diseases, because of social, political, and structural factors associated with their migration status. Increasing border restrictions have also had an impact on the mobility of migrants and the role of humanitarian organizations serving the...m. During the nine online sessions of the Summer Institute from June 15 to July 1, participants will have the opportunity to hear from experts about different health issues that affect mobile populations, and how national and international policies and practices have impacted migrant and refugee populations in Europe, the Americas, and other world regions. Mark your calendars: The Study Abroad Fair is coming! As the world continues to evolve amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, Study Abroad UC San Diego has been busy helping students plan for future study abroad program options. Next week, Study Abroad Offices from across the UC system will host a weeklong virtual collaborative event featuring live zoom presentations and videos on a range of study abroad-related topics. And on Thursday UCEAP will host their systemwide Study Abroad Fair with Friday culminating with live drop-in advising.
