UCLA Campus Zoom 5.0.0 Update To the Campus Community: One of the new enhancements in the latest version of Zoom, version 5.0.0, requires all users to update their desktop client by May 30. I encourage all UCLA users to review Zoom’s summary of the latest updates, as well as UCLA’s latest guidance for using Zoom, and to update your desktop client today.... Simple instructions for checking whether you have the latest version and easily updating your software can be found in Step 2 on our Zoom Security Settings information page. From UCLA IT: Issues Sending Messages To @list.ucla.edu Users who are attempting to send a message out to an @lists.ucla.edu mailing list may receive the following error message:... "The domain lists.ucla.edu has exceeded its quota for the maximum number of external recipients." If you receive the above bounceback message when sending a message to an @lists.ucla.edu mailing list, please try re-sending the message. The issue is affecting all @lists.ucla.edu mailing lists. IT Services is aware of the issue and has reported it to Google Groups support as well as escalated it to the Google G Suite for Higher Education regional manager. Between 11am to 11:24am today, Social Sciences CCLE ( experienced an unexpected outage. The outage was due to security tools that needed to be re-installed onto the new system after we upgraded our hardware over the Winter Break. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
