Today we're celebrating the UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center teams which were both recently recognized for zero harm in the past year. UCLA Health launched a Zero-Harm Recognition Program to spotlight its commitment to eliminate preventable medical errors that negatively impact patient safety and health. The Zero Harm Achievement Award recognizes departments and units that have achieved zero in key safety metrics appropriate for the pati...ent populations they service for a continuous twelve-month period. The recognition is meant to raise awareness and provide an opportunity to share best practices and success stories associated with sustainable results.
