Tonight is the first official practice for our level 5 & 6 teams! To commemorate this special occasion that we are so excited about, I will share the behind the scenes story of this iconic photo that made rounds half way around the World. Picture this: Our Worlds team & fan favorite Catty 6 advances to the finals on day two, however the judges had stated that during day one their overall score could be improved with more performance flair. Backstage, right before the biggest ...routine of their entire season, Coach @niccova takes @courtmcpeakk to the side and shows her this move and tells her to copy him at this exact moment during the routine. None of the coaches knew, none of the athletes knew. That is, until we got the photos after the performance was over. Let’s just say that our Worlds teams shared and spoke about these photos (& bloopers that you have yet to see) the entire rest of the Worlds trip. One of the most epic moments in my sports history covering this amazing sport at UCF.
