Plus, the people are incredible and I'm obsessed with all of them. Favorite Weekend Activity? In the summer, rafting on the American River and camping around Lake Tahoe . In the "winter" (in quotes because I'm from the Midwest!), cozy wine nights with my co-residents . All year round I love exploring the West Coast with my cute husband Drew! Becoming an OBGYN means I get to focus my studies and energy on improving women's health. I chose OBGYN because I really enjoy the mix of procedures and clinic that makes every day different! Why UC Davis? While interviewing at UC Davis, I really felt like the residents were my "people" and the staff were encouraging and approachable.
