Highlights below: - UC Davis Health frontline workers were among the first to receive the COVID vacci...ne - Continue to wear masks, social distance, wash hands & get tested often as vaccines become available to everyone - Avoid non-essential travel - Students must get tested within 7 days before & after any travel for winter break & self-quarantine for a min. of 10 days, even if tested negative - We are hoping for an expanded range of in-person learning activities for Spring 2021 - We expect Fall 2021 will return to pre-pandemic, in-person instruction There is a lot to look forward to in 2021. Chemistry Ph.D. Candidate Lindsay Cameron photographed nerve cells as part of her work with a team of researchers that engineered a non-hallucinogenic psychedelic drug compound, which has potential for treating addiction, depression and other psychiatric disorders. The results were published in the December edition of Nature, where Cameron was credited as a co-author of the paper.
