The comedy "Small Step" by Davis native Briandaniel Ogelsby, presented by the UC Davis Dept. of Theatre and Dance, Catalyst: A Theatre Think Tank and Bike City Theatre Company, is coming Jan. 21-23 to cheer us up. Geoff Sobelle, winter 2021 Granada Artist, appears in "Elephant Room: Dust from the Stars," a virtual performance presented by the Center Theatre Group Dec. 16-20. Set in the distant year 2020 against a dystopian backdrop of near total planetary collapsea mysterious plague ravages the earth, temperatures are heating up, chaos rules the streets, democracy hangs by a thread as autocratic regimes seek to divide and conquer the planet’s empires.
