Retired member, Brother Dan Studer, donated his collage of old fire sprinklers and gauges to Local 483. They’re on display in the Union Hall. Come on down and check them out!

California state Apprenticship competition 2019 was an awesome event. Brothers Cameron Potratz and Kyle Burbank competed with pride and determination. While we did not take first place, they fought hard and represented their local in the best possible way. We appreciate the time and effort these two put into this and we are extremely proud of them. Great job Brothers.

The Local 483 40hrs apprentice training was a huge success! These apprentices received their OSHA 10 certification, their scissor lift certification, instructi...on on how to thread pipe, groove pipe, cut 4 pipe with a 4-6 cutters and then groove that pipe with an in air groover. All of these apprentices were then registered with the Office of the State Fire Marshal as a Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentices. They now need to continue their training in the field. Please take the time to train these apprentices and keep up the UA Standard of Excellence. #SprinklerFittersUALocal483 #uaproud

Congratulations to Matt Harken. Matt just returned form the international apprenticeship competition, held in Ann Arbor Michigan. Matt represented himself and his local union with effort and determination that we can all be proud of. Cheers Matt you did an incredible job Brother.
