Happy Mothers day to the most compassionate, smart, and strongest woman I know. A very classy lady and exceptional role model I had growing up. She taught me so... much of who I am today and who I will be tomorrow. I can only hope I am as good as a mommy as she was to us girls. She still always stands up for us and she is the 1st person to tell us we were wrong. She is my sister's and my cheerleader. She is our matriarch and one of few loves of my life. We grew up jumping from trees into piles of leaves that she raked. She would not make a snowman when it snowed, it was bunnies! Hot chocolate was always ready for us when we came home once the street lights were on. Hot cereal could be our dinner. We were allowed to stay up late to watch wizard of Oz and Michael Jackson thriller video on MTV. We had swings in our basement and we would swing so high we would hit the kitchen floor constantly and she would never say STOP! She would let me help her redo kitchens, paint, put down tile, brick, rock, rebuild furniture. She never said your doing it wrong or stop because you are getting in the way. I was allowed to cut glass with her when she did stain glass. She would let me help paint her paintings. She loves her flowers and an avid gardener and artist! She went back to college after us kids grew up and became a high-school teacher. She retired as a teacher but she is still teaching all of us! She enjoys life and loves unconditionally. She has real spirit! Love pours out of her the minute she sees us. She has been through so much in her life and I have never ever saw her head down, except when she is pushing through something hard. She is like a bull! She has never broke down in a middle of a crisis. She gets through it then falls to recoup. Never ever in front of us kids! She always has taught us push through any problem first then you can crash. Knowing very well once we got through it -there would be no falling to recoup. She knew our head would be high and on the other side we are stronger. She taught us to keep with our principles, speak out when someone needed help and to love fully and completely. She has many passions but her main passion is to make sure us girls always stand on our own 2 feet. She took her lessons in life and drilled into us what she learned. She never had a back up plan, but us girls are to always have a back up plan! She is my one and only mother and Barrie and I are so blessed to have her as our momma! God chose the perfect mother for us girls. I know God exists because my mother is my mom. I love you momma! See more

AN UPDATE REGARDING THE COVID STIMULUS PACKAGE TAX RELIEF!

T.W.Taxes 16.06.2021

The stimulus package that has been signed has not been noticeably clear on how they are going to handle the unemployment exactly. However, the 10,200.00 is the... max allowed for reduced tax. This is based on the Federal Government's contribution through the stimulus for the unemployment through the states. The Federal Government gets a statement of how many people in each state are on unemployment which is submitted to the Federal Government. The government then approves the stimulus, and the stimulus is given to the state at that time to allocate based on who is collecting those unemployment checks. Most people did not collect all those payments in addition to the state unemployment insurance. If you applied later, if you only applied for it for a limited time, then you did not receive the max unemployment benefits allocated through the federal government for the stimulus package. If you have already e-filed, or if you have not, the tax season ends on April 15th as it is now according to the IRS. So as the states start to receive direction, they will send a 1099-G stimulating a repaid amount showing a negative number in a corrected 1099-G from the state you live in. When the individuals receive that document from the state that you received the unemployment from, you give that document to the preparer to file the amendment to get the tax reduced and most likely a refund of the tax that was paid by April 15th. As it is stated, the IRS still expects returns to be filed by April 15th and tax paid or payment arrangements made. The future amendment cannot be done until the government - state or federal documentation is received by the taxpayer. As we have seen the government is moving at a slower pace due to Covid and I am not expecting these corrections to be done until after the April 15th deadline. As I stated before, not everyone received every Federal Government subsidy, and therefore, everyone will have a different outcome with regards to the amended return. This is not a blanket removal of income in the amount of $10,200.00. Extra Child Tax Credit: The IRS must issue an update to all the programs that are there for you to use to file your return. Once those are issued there will be information on the news, in articles, and on my Facebook. However, I recommend waiting until your corrected/repaid 1099G is received by the state for the untaxable unemployment. You do not want the complication of amending an amended return. This may push the wait for your refund longer than necessary. See more

I am inviting you to join me for a short prayer in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Let us pray together. Lord God, thank you very much for ...all the blessings that you never get tired of giving us. Even if we are not worthy of your love, you are still there to love us. Lord, we are humbly asking for forgiveness from You for all our sins, whether they are intentional or not - please forgive us. Cleanse our hearts and remove all the negative emotions that we hold. Lord, I lift my future to you. May you straighten the path that I am walking. Cause me to make wise, Godly choices for my life- choices that will honor You. Please be with me on my journey, Lord. You will serve as my guide and refuge. Lord, though I am a sinner, fragile in temptation and often my faith is weak, I pray that you will not let go of me, but hold me in your loving arms. Lord, we need you. Pour your love and forgiveness out to the world. Touch each one of us. Make each of us your instrument of love so that other people can know you. Give each of us enough wisdom to reveal your greatness to others. Dear Lord, we will not get tired of worshiping You. From the smallest to the greatest of your blessings, I will be in debt until my death. May the love that first came from you reign in the life of every child reading this prayer. Use us for your plans. Lord, I pray that You will stop this spreading disease - heal our land. This is causing huge damage to our families and communities. Please take care of us, Lord. You are our only hope and strength. Lord God, all the praise and thanksgiving are yours, in the name of JESUS, Amen. I love you Lord . I challenge all of you, all those who believe in God, to COPY and PASTE this post and make this as your status, help me to proclaim his goodness. It's only two seconds. . Thank you so much & may God bless us all Amen Stay healthy Keep safe everyone See more

Laughed so hard!

T.W.Taxes 14.10.2020

I had a client/friend as me about homeschooling. So I answered some of her questions, so this may be a bit confusing at first. However, I believe there are pro...bably some parents out there that needed some advise and had questions on homeschooling. So I wanted to add this to my facebook in hopes that people can be more at ease. Wow, all good questions. So first, I do not know how the public school is going to handle homeschooling. If it will be modeled after k-12 homeschooling then I can fill you in on what it may be like. It looks like your kids are in middle school or beginning high school. The number one thing is you need to look at what is best for you and your children. If they are not morning kids then start a little later. If they are morning kids then starting at 8 is fine. Home schooling takes a lot more concentration, than being in the classroom. There are no real distractions like a classroom. So class takes a lot less time than an hour. I typically would start Tristan at 10am. Remember, kids need structure, so make sure you have a plan and it's consistent. With Tristan I always gave a 30 min warning, 10 minute warning then a 2 minute warning. Due to a fresh mind in the morning, I would start Tristan with an easy class for him (one of his favorites) Science or History. Then the next class would be his hard class/ usually writing or reading. You will see a set of classes for the day that needs to be done. But it's not necessary to follow those blocks exactly. They say to have the kids work an hour each class. So if it is 6 classes then you are looking at 6 hours. Which is longer than them just going to school. Typically, I would set the time on my phone for 45 min. Tristan loves to talk and bring his own ideas to the board of the computer classroom with us. We realized he was always veering off the beaten path. So when he started talking and losing concentration, we would pause the timer. Of course he would see that and move back to the classroom on the computer screen. Once the time goes off. No matter where he is at - we would stop. Move that homework aside, for the next morning or end of the day. We would then give him a 15 minute refresher break. We made it his responsibility to return to the classroom in 15 min. Otherwise, he had extra time at the end of the day he had to make up for. After the second class, we would give him a 30 minute break on his responsibility. Reading and writing was his worst class, he hated it, so a lot of the time, I would give him homework at the end of the day. But while on break I would look to see what the next class was and how quickly we would be able to get through it. That is how I would choose the next class. Quick class, then hard, then easy then hard, etc. Tristan needs to be mentally prepared so at the end of the easy, quick class, I would tell him what we will be doing next so he is prepared for a little more heavy work. Google and research will be where he learns the most. Typically, not all the information will be within what he is reading online, researching with them gets them to learn faster and more thoroughly. Looking things up on line was great! So a couple of key elements: Tristan always needed a review in the morning, kind of a refresher to bring him out of his sleeping mind to a working mind. So whatever you notice they are not grasping on to, I would make worksheets. Worksheets are very easy to find on google. So I would typically do a math sheet mixed with multiplication, division, subtraction and addition. They would be simple sheets to help with memorization. The next sheet I would do in the morning is a worksheet with sentences, a picture to write a simple paragraph on, vocabulary, or reading paragraphs maybe 2 and answering questions based on what we were learning. I would give 5 to 10 minutes on each worksheet usually no more than 3 to get his mind working before the 1st class.Another element that was great for Tristan is if I saw him overwhelmed for the day, maybe we only do 3 classes. Maybe we do 4. We usually worked from 10am to about 230 or 3pm. This is including breaks. Depending on how he is going through the particular class, maybe he is behind in one. Then we would spend 3 days on that class to catch up or to pull ahead, then another class and that would be it. This may be a better way for your kids to learn. In college they do one class for 5 weeks, then move on to the next subject for 5 weeks. So you could follow this type of outline for your student. Not 5 weeks, but maybe 2 full days or 3. The main thing is to see what works best for them and for yourself. There is attendance. They take attendance every time they log into the classroom. Sometimes you have to go to the parent side and click that you did a class manually as there may not be any homework. You may have to upload homeworks to the screen on that particular page. The grading is based on the work upload and the testing or quizzes. They usually give the kids 2 x to take a test and a quiz. They do have a timeline on when each class should be at 50% then 90%. That percentage is usually added into the grade. But if you are falling behind because your student needed a little more help in certain areas, then you can contact the teacher to move him ahead and remove some of the work to bring him up to date. A Lot of the work is repetitive, and the student may have it down. So you can move on to the next subject and just gloss over the rest. Not all work needs to be turned in. The teacher can help you move through a class as you keep checking in with them on where you are at. Tristan hated writing, so I would have him make a video of a story or answer the homework on video and upload it. It depends on the teacher and if they allow that. Most do though. Every week, we would have class time on line with an actual teacher. This is pretty much mandatory and usually other kids will be in the classroom on video or just microphone. So they do work together in teams and have some social interaction. They do have clubs that are on line that you can sign up for, and there are discussions on line as well. Tutoring is online. All will be in your parent login. You can also schedule a weekly meeting with the teacher to update what they say you are behind on or can move forward with. They are an excellent tool to use as much as possible. I honestly believe he learned more at homeschooling then he did at school. The key thing is do what works for you and your children. Experimenting is a great process to see what works for you both. Holly Anderson

IRS UPDATE/TURBO TAX PARTNERSHIP (FREE) TO REGISTER YOUR BANK INFORMATION FOR YOUR STIMULUS CHECK: WHEN ARE STIMULUS CHECKS COMING FROM THE IRS? DEPOSIT DATE A...ND DETAILS EXPLAINED BY SHANE CROUCHER ON 4/06/20 AT 5:21 AM EDT NEWS The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will start directly depositing the economic impact paymentotherwise known as the stimulus checkinto Americans' accounts for mid-April, around April 15. These first direct deposits will go to Americans who filed tax returns in the past two years and whose payment details are already on record. For those who have not filed tax returns recently, the Treasury said it was developing "in the coming weeks" a web-based portal to allow these people to provide their bank details and receive immediately the economic impact payment rather than waiting for checks in the mail. This week, TurboTax launched a free tool in partnership with the IRS that allows Americans who are not required to file a tax return to register their details with the IRS to receive the economic impact payment directly into their accounts. Anyone else will have to wait for a paper check. The Washington Post reported that checks for lower-income individuals will be prioritized and mailed first, citing an internal IRS plan circulating internally. The IRS will reportedly start mailing checks out to those unable to receive the economic impact payment digitally from April 24, but some may not arrive until September. The Treasury said social security recipients, who do not usually have to file a tax return to the IRS, will receive their economic impact payments directly and automatically into their accounts. Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin said social security recipients will get their stimulus payments "very quickly" after the first IRS deposits are made in mid-April. "The vast majority of people do not need to take any action. The IRS will calculate and automatically send the economic impact payment to those eligible," the IRS states. These economic impact payments were introduced under the $2 trillion stimulus package recently passed by Congress to help Americans and the economy through the worst of the coronavirus pandemic, which appears to have triggered a deep recession. In the past two weeks, there have been nearly 10 million new unemployment claims, an unprecedented spike in joblessness. The economic impact payments are worth up to $1,200 for individuals, $2,400 for married couples and $500 for each qualifying child. According to the IRS: "Tax filers with adjusted gross income up to $75,000 for individuals and up to $150,000 for married couples filing joint returns will receive the full payment. For filers with income above those amounts, the payment amount is reduced by $5 for each $100 above the $75,000/$150,000 thresholds. "Single filers with income exceeding $99,000 and $198,000 for joint filers with no children are not eligible. Social Security recipients and railroad retirees who are otherwise not required to file a tax return are also eligible and will not be required to file a return." IRS.GOV

T.W.Taxes clients, update https://www.forbes.com//persona/stimulus-check-calculator/ IRS Gives Stimulus Check Distribution Details, Says Payments To Begin Wit...hin Three Weeks The Treasury Department and IRS today announced that distribution of economic impact payments will begin in the next three weeks and that they will be distributed automatically, with no action required for most people. See IR 2020-61. However, some seniors and others who typically do not file returns will need to submit a simple tax return to receive the stimulus payment. Who is eligible for the economic impact payment? Tax filers with adjusted gross income up to $75,000 for individuals and up to $150,000 for married couples filing joint returns will receive the full payment. For filers with income above those amounts, the payment amount is reduced by $5 for each $100 above the $75,000/$150,000 thresholds. Single filers with income exceeding $99,000 and $198,000 for joint filers with no children are not eligible. Eligible taxpayers who filed tax returns for either 2019 or 2018 will automatically receive an economic impact payment of up to $1,200 for individuals or $2,400 for married couples. Parents also receive $500 for each qualifying child. How will the IRS know where to send my payment? The vast majority of people do not need to take any action. The IRS will calculate and automatically send the economic impact payment to those eligible. For people who have already filed their 2019 tax returns, the IRS will use this information to calculate the payment amount. For those who have not yet filed their return for 2019, the IRS will use information from their 2018 tax filing to calculate the payment. The economic impact payment will be deposited directly into the same banking account reflected on the return filed. The IRS does not have my direct deposit information. What can I do? In the coming weeks, Treasury plans to develop a web-based portal for individuals to provide their banking information to the IRS online, so that individuals can receive payments immediately, as opposed to checks in the mail. I am not typically required to file a tax return. Can I still receive my payment? Yes. People who typically do not file a tax return will need to file a simple tax return to receive an economic impact payment. Low-income taxpayers, senior citizens, Social Security recipients, some veterans and individuals with disabilities who are otherwise not required to file a tax return will not owe tax. How can I file the tax return needed to receive my economic impact payment? IRS.gov/coronavirus will soon provide information instructing people in these groups on how to file a 2019 tax return with simple, but necessary, information including their filing status, number of dependents and direct deposit bank account information. I have not filed my tax return for 2018 or 2019. Can I still receive an economic impact payment? Yes. The IRS urges anyone with a tax filing obligation who has not yet filed a tax return for 2018 or 2019 to file as soon as they can to receive an economic impact payment. Taxpayers should include direct deposit banking information on the return. I need to file a tax return. How long are the economic impact payments available? For those concerned about visiting a tax professional or local community organization in person to get help with a tax return, these economic impact payments will be available throughout the rest of 2020. Where can I get more information? The IRS will post all key information on IRS.gov/coronavirus as soon as it becomes available. The IRS has a reduced staff in many of its offices but remains committed to helping eligible individuals receive their payments expeditiously. Check for updated information on IRS.gov/coronavirus rather than calling IRS assistors, who are helping process 2019 returns. See also Stimulus Check FAQs. For more general tax rules, see 12 IRS (non-stimulus) tax rules you'll need this year.

Hello, my T.W.Taxes clients, I wanted to update you on all the latest information regarding your taxes and tax filing date. The IRS and the state of California ...are strongly encouraging you to file your tax return as most will have a refund, this refund can help in this time of the pandemic COVID-19. They have extended the deadline to file your taxes as of now until July 15th, 2020. They have also extended penalties and interest on IRS debt and FTB debt as well, for 2019 returns. With this tax law in place, I am sure if you owe for prior years, during this time you may request a pause on payment arrangements that you have now with any agency regarding your taxes. If you are not able to get through on the phones, write a letter requesting a pause and extension on those payments due to the hardship of today with COVID-19. The Secretary of the Department of Treasury and Congress are working on a stimulus package to help the taxpayers in this time of need. As of today, they are working on approving for every taxpaying individual to receive $1000 to help stimulate the economy. I am sure they will be dispersing this check to taxpayers that have already filed their taxes this year first. Remember, your most current information regarding changes of address, current bank account direct deposit information as well as dependents are in your current 2019 return. I believe they will be sending this stimulus package check to those you have filed current their tax return forms first. Everyone is encouraged to apply social distancing and soon may be somewhat of an order from our governments. With this in mind, we are not accepting in-office appointments but are still accepting appointments!! Please understand we are here to help you get that refund you so desperately need.
