Hi All! It’s been a while since I posted. Crush lunches are over so we have time for projects. I was going to post on Tuesday and show you the project that Jeff and I did over the weekend but as I was wrestling Facebook into submission I heard a yell from Jeff who was outside cutting kindling. Well he almost added his finger to the pile! He was lucky with only 6 stitches. He was being a little cavalier with my small 14 inch chainsaw. He had taken down a 40 foot dead Madrone... a couple days before with his larger chainsaw with no problem and we had each started on an end and worked to the middle. I love cutting wood. Anyway, a trip to the ER and the gash was all sewn up. So here are a couple pictures of our weekend project. It has taken 3 years to get to, but tada! it’s done! Some of you know Duffy, one of our dogs. Well he wasn’t happy at being locked in one day when we were at work so he shredded the wood paneling below the shower door and scratched up the panel. We have a tablesaw and a planer/jointer and quite a bit of old redwood. Now Jeff has had time to figure out how to use them, so he spent some time out in the shop and came in with the redwood slats. Hi All, Just checking in. We're still enjoying ourselves. Jeff is downstairs cooking. i have just discovered when I closed our Sonic account at the restaurant, I also, let our emails go. AAAHHHH!!! So Sonic is working to get our [email protected] and [email protected] back up and running. I love Sonic. I always get a live person and they are so helpful. And don't laugh at the extreme lack of knowledge I have. The only reason I know the Twist emails aren't working is because Outlook started asking for the password. Otherwise, I would have gone on unawares. That is how I am keeping Jeff, at the moment. Why worry him with a minor detail when he is getting ready to start Crush lunches.

Hi All, I would like to say we have been sitting watching the birds and relaxing, but not quite yet. Still wrapping up Twist. Tomorrow we hand over the keys at 6pm, and then we will take the weekend to relax into retirement? Thanks again for all your support over the 9 years.

Well, this is the end of the Twist era. Our last day.

OMG! It’s Friday! One more day and we are done. I am starting to freak out. It’s also national sugar cookie day. I think I need a sugar cookie, but I’ll substitute the Thai noodles. They are so delicious.

Happy Juneteenth! Jeff was going to do quiche but switched it up to this delicious salad.

Hi All, I was just checking in to our site and don’t see our Happy New Year post. Ah, the joys of terrible internet service where we live. Jeff is doing great. We’ve been cleaning underbrush and generally tidying. We were saying to each other how relaxed we were feeling then turned on the tv! Let’s see if I can get this post with a picture. A frozen petunia from two weeks ago. Take care and see you in a few weeks.

Merry Christmas everybody! I know, I know. I have been really remiss in posting Jeff updates, but he is doing so well, he was even chainsawing a couple of days ago. Yes, he was hurting a bit after, but all in all, he is doing great. We have been puttering and tidying and relaxing. It’s wonderful! Hope everyone has a happy day. Here’s our rosemary Christmas tree that will go in the ground in the new year.

Hi All, It's Wednesday and Jeff had his hip repair work done. He's resting on the sofa, and, unfortunately for me, is wide awake and won't have any down time at all, which means he's going to help me in the kitchen with dinner. I can only hope that when the numbing agent wears off on Friday, and he has some pain, he will be more likely to leave me to it. Is that mean? Take Care Everybody. Happy Holidays!

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Last day of the year for Twist. Jeff has the hip labrum repair surgery on Wednesday and recoups until the end of January. Here’s the board for today.

Is it wrong to have a pot pie for breakfast? When I walked in earlier the aromas of sage and chicken made my mouth water. Jeff won’t let me near his pot pies, at least not until this evening, if there are any left.

Beautiful Fall day. What better for lunch or to take for dinner than pork tenderloin with a delicious mustard cream sauce. This looks like the last day for the OMG BLT. While it’s still hot during the day ,the nights are too cool and the tommies don’t ripen as well. So the really scrumptious ones are about done.
