The Palo Verde River Consortium, in conjunction with the Palo Verde Unified School district, will hold its next virtual meeting on Thursday, May 20, from 6:00-7:00 pm as part of its parent education program. Riverside County residents entered into the California Department of Public Health's Regional Stay at Home Order. Earlier today, the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services issued an emergency alert asking residents to stay home except for essential activities. Palo Verde Unified feels that it is important to inform the community that the guidance related to schools is unchanged, and school districts are deemed to be essential. Thus, we want to assure you our district wil...l continue to function during the stay at home order, and distance learning will continue. There will be no interruption to distance learning instruction and bulk meal distribution. All school staff will continue to practice the safety protocols of wearing a mask, distancing six feet as much as practicable, frequent hand washing, and disinfecting surfaces. We appreciate the dedication of our staff to our students and to each other and the cooperation and understanding of our community. The district will continue to provide updates as necessary.
