Like what Mama Jo said, it’s all about a holistic team approach in helping her and her baby, and we couldn’t agree more! We are happy to work with Dr. Christine Kan, an occupational therapist who specializes in feeding therapy and is a lactation consultant. She came to our office for baby’s initial consultation and first post op appointments with Dr. Bethany. She provided collaborative support with evaluating breastfeeding, function, as well as providing some exercises from h...er occupational therapy background for them to do. With the help of Dr. Kelli Han from @healthfitla, she relieved baby’s neck tension and helped with his alignment before and after his tongue and lip release. Dr. Bethany was so happy in this collaborative team care. She uses her CO2 laser to help relieve symptoms mom and baby has that’s caused by the tension of baby’s tongue and lip ties.
