I have worked with a few people over the years with physical limitations and is always amazing to watch them as they have overcame that problem. Truly inspiring.

QUESTION: working on opening another class time a dedicated kids class 12 and under. What do you all consider a good day and time for such a class? what day and times if you have/had kid(s) would you want?

Been saying I was going to share this for a while, is an amazing way to practice with partners in keeping connection while doing techniques. What is Tai Sabaki, it is a way of maneuvering the body in order to both avoid a strike whilst at the same time positioning oneself into a position to execute a counter/pre-emptive strike. https://youtu.be/H56n-DS8Ikg

I have been practicing Aikido for over 15 years now, and what this guy says is something I tell my classes all the time. Aikido on the mat is ment to give you the idea, the muscle memory, and spacial awareness, but in the real world the flashy movements done or won't work. Keep it simple that is why I teach both ways. Good news everyone JULY 2ND we will be back to having classes on Tuesday and Thursday! So unless something major happens see you all Thursday July 2nd for our first return class.

Hey all just wanted to give an update. As of May 21st Tulare supervisors decided to continue lock down on businesses so looks like another month of at home training for us. Be safe all, see you when I see you.

Hello fellow students & fellow Aikidoka. As of right now we are still doors closed :-( dur to covid-19 restrictions. As most know I have not posted any videos to train with. The reason is I just don't have the equipment to do so, and there are many great resources out there already to train by that would be far more polished then I could do with my little old cell phone camera. So until we meet again stay safe.
