Last week we marched to raise awareness for our Salon industry to have the right to work. My Gram asked if we could come along. Seemed fitting since this was also her industry for almost 40 years. She owned a salon which I worked in every summer and even on weekends durning the school year. Well she ended up making the front page of the paper. She and I were both proud of the fact that we stood together with so many others who just want to work. I am so sick of the emotional roller coaster this Governor has put us on. The facts are that if I still worked in a Doctors office I could still do everything I would do in a salon. Every Med-Spa office in this town can do medical Esthetics. But because I work in a salon I am not able to work. The services I provide require me to be no closer then someone doing Botox or giving a haircut. But as an Esthetician I am still not able to return to work even after salons reopen on t...his coming Monday. I hate that I have no voice. As an industry today we marched for our right to work. Hey friends!! Rumor has it our salon will finally be able to open June 1st...This is such exciting news!! Sometime this week our salon staff will be getting together to discuss details of what needs to be done to make this happen. What I do know is... All of us will be working in shifts in order to comply with new guidelines. Basically all salons can have a curtain number if people in the bulilding depending on sq footage. There will be no waiting area so clients will ...text when they arrive and wait in their car or outside until I give the okay to enter. (This is required by the state) Each of my clients will have to bring a mask and wear it during the service. We will have a hands free thermometer so that each person who enters the building will have there temperature checked. Our mission at Panache Salon is to see all of our clients all while keeping your & our health 1st priority. I am so excited to see all of you and catch up on life and help you all feel beautiful. What I know: Salons will be able to reopen in ‘phase 3’ This is because we work so closely ...to you. When will phase 3 happen? From what officials are saying this could be as soon as mid May.
