When God places something on your heart share it. You don’t know who may need to hear it. God gives us experiences, thoughts, or insights not to benefit us but so that people can see Him through us. This is a post from one of our members (Ciera Witherspoon) Early Morning Spiritual Thoughts:... At this time I don’t believe it’s about who believes in GOD and who doesn’t...I think it’s about who believes vs who’s ACTUALLY committed to Him... I think you can have faith in God and not be committed to Him...faith meaning complete trust or confidence in someone or something; in this case based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof HOWEVER being committed means to be dedicated which in turn means to devote TIME, EFFORT, or ONESELF to a particular task or purpose (our purpose being to edify God or to build the Kingdom of God) I see a lot of post about God and what He can do. BUT do you actually believe it or is this just a trend? It is not my place to JUDGE but I am here to help you reflect. During these times we as CHRISTIANS or BELIEVERS need to re-evaluate the RELATIONSHIP we THINK we have with GOD to get to the RELATIONSHIP we SHOULD/NEED to have with Him. Steps To Consider: 1) Evaluate the RELATIONSHIP -Ask yourself am I committed to Him or do I just believe in Him? -A RELATIONSHIP with God is no different than a relationship with a friend or a spouse. At the end of the day you still have to do the work (EFFORT) 2) What does commitment ACTUALLY look like? How do I get committed? -This is different for everyone but pretty much giving your all to Him just like you would if it was work or school. -Showing Him that nothing (for example Corona or Work) stops your praise. -Actually doing the work He set out for you to do -Open your BIBLE and look up verses on commitment (PS THIS IS A VERB AND LAST I CHECKED IT MEANS TO TAKE ACTION SO DON’T JUST TALK THE TALK BUT ACTUALLY WALK THE WALK) 3) Don’t go at this alone -Committing yourself to God is hard and will take TIME especially when we live in a world that doesn’t understand or doesn’t want to understand HOWEVER God didn’t place us here on our own he left us a comforter (The Holy Spirit) as well as Earthly Leaders to help us on this journey -Talk to your PASTOR, SPIRITUAL MENTOR, A FRIEND THAT IS ON THIS JOURNEY AS WELL let them know it’s hard and that you need to be motivated -Send each other quotes or scriptures. Share prayers to help build strength and understanding -Join a group chat or start one with your Christian friends -If you need help FOLLOW @TheCorporateBeliever on INSTAGRAM my sis post some amazing content but we must understand this is not a Game it’s time to Get Serious I hope this helps someone.
