Dear Patients and Parents of Dr. Timothy Pearson, Though we have been providing emergency care throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, we are pleased to say that we will formally be reopening our office on June 1st to care for our patients. You and your child’s safety are paramount to our practice.... We have incorporated changes to our office design, daily protocols and scheduling to comply with the new CDC recommendations for dental offices. With that being said, we have always practiced standard precautions, such as the use of safety glasses, sterile instruments and devices, as well as cleaned and disinfected environmental surfaces. Dr. Pearson will be masking up for all operatory procedures. Additionally, frequently touched surfaces (e.g., door handles, chairs, desks, bathrooms, etc.) are to be cleaned and disinfected often. We have also replaced the seating in the reception area with non-fabric chairs that can be thoroughly disinfected. To further ensure your safety, difficult to disinfect objects and areas will be removed (i.e., the children’s toy station and any magazines/books). Please be sure that your child has brushed their teeth thoroughly at home before their orthodontic appointment, as our tooth brushing station will continue to stay closed. Regarding our new patient scheduling protocol: We will be seeing fewer patients per day as we implement social distancing guidelines. With the exception of siblings, we are seeing patients in every other treatment chair in order to maintain a 6-foot distance between patients. We will be scheduling patients Monday through Friday in our effort to see fewer patients per day and to meet the needs of our patients families. Dear Patients and Families, Your safety is paramount for our office at all times. Our office will CONTINUE TO STAY OPEN during this Coronavirus outbreak, but we will be running on a reduced schedule to ensure that proper safety precautions are taken. This means that we will see no more than 3 patients per scheduling interval in order to keep a 6 foot recommended space between patients.... We will also be temporarily closing our tooth brushing station, so please be sure that your child brushes their teeth at home before their appointment. We use universal health precautions for all of our patients and run 2 Statim Steam Autoclaves to sterilize our instruments. To ensure your safety, if any of our staff members are sick, they will be required to stay home and be tested for COVID19. NOTICE: *** If you or any of your family is sick, please contact us and we will reschedule your appointment. *** We would also like to ask any patients that have traveled internationally within the past few weeks to reschedule their appointment(s).
