Must be committed EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Appropriate Medical Assistant Certification required / AA in engineering technology or related field QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Strong communication skills with staff, physicians, and patients Good analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize workflow in a fast-paced team environment Strong computer skills, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience 2-5 years AA experience preferred new Graduates are encouraged RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Rooming patients and taking vitals Documenting patient information in EMR Assist and setup procedures Assist front office in checking patients in/out and scheduling Rx refills through physician Primary duty for a test technician is to ensure that products perform their proposed functions in a satisfactory manner. Test technicians must be able to perform tests on manufactured products; also monitor and manipulate the instruments and processes being used to test products. These tasks can include assembling, calibrating, improving, and performing maintenance on test equipment. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
