As residents of beautiful San Diego, many of our customers opt to scatter their loved one's remains at sea off our coast. The law states you must be 500 yards off shore. Some families use a boat and some paddle out on a surfboard or in a kayak. A disposition permit is required which we can provide upon request.

We are commonly asked, "How many death certificates do I need?". The number really depends on the financial affairs of the deceased individual. Most people need between 1 and 5. However, a person with a complex estate (i.e. multiple insurance policies, properties, or other accounts) will need more than a person of more simple means.
