Focused on my Ripped Vases for now. The idea is doing pottery the way its been done for thousands of years, and making it non functional. So many people have vases and dont use them (including me) because they are really just art. This takes away the possibility of use. I am making 5" by 7" limited edition, signed and numbered prints of photography I have taken of the piece. It is framed in a black wood 8" by 10" standing or hanging frame. Number 1 of 20 comes with the piece.... A play on taking 3D art and turning it 2D, the opposite of what I usually do. I love the idea of having a framed print of the piece standing or hanging next to the piece. Having the art in different formats. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity, and has an assinged number. Numbers 2 to 20 of the prints are available on my site under the "Limited Editon Prints" tab. Some of my photography of my ceramics moving forward will be more abstract angles,, and some pieces will be a literal straight up portrait of the piece. Looking forward to whats coming!
