Arrived yesterday in Cabo and was very impressed with how the hotels, staff and guests are handling this post Covid world. Upon arriving they explained the protocols that we must follow while on property. You just wear your mask while in transit from Point A to Point B. There is hand sanitizer everywhere, use it. They take temperature checks upon entry to every restaurant. All restaurant are observing more than the six foot rule for tables. Group tables no larger than 10. They disinfect all tables and chairs between clients. Buffets exist but with glass surrounding the food and staff serving you. Staff is eager to have us back and it feels great to be back. #PleasantHolidaysMexico

Up at 3:45AM for flight to Cabo. Being a flexible traveler is most necessary these days. Check into airport hotel last night to find out NO shuttle to the airport. Oh boy. No problem she says I will arrange a taxi for you. 4:45 pick up. Well you know I lost sleep over that. What happens if they don’t show up.? Do Uber drivers wake up that early? Well yes they do! No taxi driver ( you knew that was gonna happen) Uber driver picked me up within 4 minutes of ordering and delivered me safe and sound with plenty of funny Cabo stories. Ok Cabo here I come. Lots of hotels to check out. Two cooking classes. Highlight will be a cooking class at Flora Farms. If I’m lucky a bit of pool time on Thursday afternoon!
