TPI’s SureTouch touchscreens are constructed of two electrically conductive and transparent layers (ITO coated film or glass). The opposing layers of SureTouch are held apart by nearly invisible separator dielectric dots. The layers are held together and sealed with a gasket adhesive which isolates the touchscreen from the outside environment. The transparent and conductive coating on each layer is etched to form distinct rows and columns of switches. Applying pressure to the flexible top layer creates a contact between the two conductive surfaces and completes the circuit. An electronic controller circuit performs the scanning of the rows and columns to determine the touch position. Contact us today to learn more.

TPI’s CrystalHeat transparent heaters are constructed of a layer of electrically conductive transparent film with screen-printed parallel busbars positioned along the edges. Lead wires are then attached to the busbars to provide means of electrical connection. Applying voltage to the busbars, through the lead wires, creates a uniform heating surface. Maximum wattage of up to 1.0 watt/in2 is recommended for most applications. Contact us today to learn more.
