At Turning Point PRC, we understand the vital role men play in the decision-making process of an unplanned pregnancy. One program we have that helps meet the needs of men is our one on one mentorship and evidence-based education program to help equip him to be a present, caring, engaged father and provider for his family.

Having community partners is important to Turning Point PRC. We’re able to accomplish so much by working together on a shared goal of being a light in the community. Thank you The Gathering at Grace Chapel for inviting us and allowing us to share last Sunday.

The lack of understanding and knowledge can cause a person to feel stressed and hopeless. Turning Point PRC teaches women about their monthly cycles and the important role it plays in their overall health through our Fertility Education & Medical Management (FEMM). FEMM offers our clients a comprehensive, integrated approach to their reproductive issues and for this client, it brought her hope again.

This quote came from a client of Turning Point PRC. She came to our clinic and we confirmed her pregnancy. After she left, we made several attempts to reconnect and provide her with much needed support, but we never hear back from her. Until we received an email! She decided to keep her baby, and said, The picture of the ultrasound makes me happy!

Calling all experienced drivers of RVs or big rig vehicles! Turning Point has a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) that has been sidelined this year due to the COVID 19 pandemic. (For those of you not familiar with the MMU, think of an RV that’s designed to be a pregnancy center on wheels). We have an opportunity to bring it to the community in January but we need a driver and person to help oversee maintenance.... Qualifications: Experienced driving an RV or big rig vehicle, Volunteer position(s). MMU Volunteer Dates: Saturday, Jan. 23, 4 pm - 8 pm Sunday, Jan. 24, 7 am - 12 pm Can you help? Jackie’s Story In 1999, Jackie Marcum sat in a genetic counseling office, 20 weeks pregnant with her third child. One of her prenatal tests had shown an increased risk for Down syndrome. At that appointment, Jackie and her husband were surprised when they were told that they should strongly consider abortion. NO information, NO counsel, and NO other options were given. Jackie told the counselor that abortion was not an option for her, and they left the office in disbelief o...f what had just happened. Several months before this experience, Jackie had felt an increased burden on her heart to reach out to women in crisis pregnancies with love and support. She started doing some research and found that her experience was not an exception. Many times women were not being told all of their options, and they often made decisions out of fear, feeling they have NO choice. Jackie was determined to create a place where women wouldn’t be left saying, Why didn’t someone ever tell me? Less than a year later, Turning Point Pregnancy Resource Center opened its doors ready to welcome women in unplanned pregnancies with love and support.
