Water System Update; Boil Water Notice Cancelled Thursday; 6/17/2021; 3:30 pm The Town’s Public Works Department in conjunction with the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Division of Drinking Water are now lifting the Boil Water Notice. The Town has received the results of the necessary bacteriological testing that are confirmed as absent of any bacteriological activity.... The tap water is determined to be safe for human and pet consumption and all other normal uses. Please call Town Hall (707) 944-8851 with any questions.

UPDATE: WATER PRESSURE & BOIL WATER Water System Update: Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 3:25 p.m. The State’s Rector Water Treatment Plan has resolved their water treatment plant issue and is now back online producing water for the Town’s distribution system. As a result of their going off-line and subsequent loss of pressure, the Town is obligated to issue a boil water notice to protect the Town’s water customers.... To lift the boil water notice, the Town needs to have two passing water samples indicating the water is safe. Each test takes +/- 24-hours as they require time for any bacteria that might be in the water to show itself. Town utility staff is now taking samples Wednesday afternoon to start the first test. They will then take the second sample Thursday morning to start the second test. If both sets of samples test clean, the boil water notice will be lifted Friday by early afternoon. Your Town staff appreciates your patience as we react to the State’s Rector Water Treatment Plant production issue and work to ensure quality water is delivered to the Town’s water customers. Water System Update Due to technical difficulties at the State’s Rector Water Treatment Plant, the Town has experienced extremely low water pressures. As a result, there is a Boil Water Notice in place for the in Town Water Customers. This means the water is not safe for human or pet consumption at this time however it is safe to shower and bathe. Town staff is working expediently to resolve the issue and has taken steps to increase the water pressure however the water qual...ity issue remains temporarily. The Boil Water Notice will remain in place until water samples have been tested and are determined to be safe for consumption. Your Town staff appreciates your patience during this time. Dear Yountville residents, The Town has released a Nixle with information regarding Phase 1 of COVID-19 Vaccination. Napa County recently launched a COVID-19 Interest Form Sign Up. Individuals who have vaccination priority, in accordance with state and federal allocation guidelines, may be identified and signed up through their healthcare provider or employer. If you are in Phase 1A (check here: https://www.countyofnapa.org/3096/COVID-19-Vaccines) or 1B because you are age 75... years or older and have not already been contacted by your healthcare provider or employer, you can sign up at: COVID-19 Vaccination | Napa County, CA (countyofnapa.org) then click on COVID-19 Vaccine (Phase 1) Interest Form. A similar sign-up process will be instituted for upcoming Phases 1B and 1C as vaccine allocations become available. Dear Residents: Upper Valley Waste Management Agency will host a one-day hazardous waste collection at the Napa County Fairgrounds in Calistoga on Saturday, November 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Appointments ARE REQUIRED & must be scheduled by 5:00 PM on Friday, November 13. Visit www.countyofnapa.org/hazwaste to schedule an appointment.
