THE #1 SURPRISING REASON THAT WOMAN GAIN WEIGHT When we typically think of gaining weight, we think of eating more calories than our bodies need. Makes sense right?... If your body requires 1,500 calories and you 2,000, you will gain weight. What's interesting to me is that amount of women that I meet that are eating well below their required number and are gaining weight. Why does that happen? It's simple - hormones. You see, calories are a surface reason for weight gain and weight loss but hormones control EVERYTHING including sleep, energy, metabolism, appetite, mood and host of other bodily processes. That's why I always coach my female clients to avoid under-eating as a method for fat-loss. I see it all the time. Ladies that will eat 1,000 or 800 and even 500 calories in an effort to burn fat. STOP THAT You are damaging your hormones and definitely ruining your bodies ability to burn fat. The key is to find the balance. A place where you're eating 80% healthy food and cutting loose every now and then. FUEL your body and it will burn fat. TREAT yourself, don't cheat yourself. EAT! Don't starve yourself skinny.

An easier way to do this is to include lean sources of protein.... Ingredients like Egg whites in place of whole eggs Low-fat Greek yogurt in place of full-fat Mozzarella in place of fattier cheeses Lean cuts of meat over fattier sources are all simple swaps which provide a similar quantity of protein, for fewer calories.
