Where in the world is #OldCalifornia ? Here we are at McMurdo Station, the largest scientific research station in Antarctica! At McMurdo, scientists perform re...search on a wide range of subjects including ice cores, glaciology and astrophysics (wow!). Average temperatures hover around minus 26 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter, so it’s no wonder they’re looking for a little Old California flavor to warm things up! Chef Lauren Chastang @secret_type was kind enough to compose this shot for us. Big thanks to Lauren for using our Pacific Northwest fruit and California tomato products to feed and (no doubt) comfort the research and support personnel at McMurdo.
