Next Friday, Maloney will host our first ever (and hopefully last) Virtual Halloween Spooktacular Costume and Background Decorating Event. Each classroom will nominate one student to represent their class in the hopes of winning the Maloney Halloween Spooktacular Award which will be announced on Facebook Live at 12:30 on Friday, March 30th at 12:30. Good morning Maloney family and friends! Remember the October Great Trait is Respect. How can we show respect in a virtual classroom? Let's talk about 3 examples. 1. Teacher to Student: Classes start on time, and the teacher is ready to teach. Teacher uses a kind voice, and takes time to listen to the students. 2. Student to Student: Mute your microphones unless you're called on. Show patience and kindness.... 3. Student to Teacher: Make sure to pay attention, and not cause distractions. Keep your camera on the entire time, and complete all your work. Tell your teacher you appreciate them, and follow the virtual classroom rules all the time. Breakfast and Lunch: Served daily. If you receive a progress report it just means you need work a little harder to show your teacher you care about school, and will try your best from now on. Virtual Back to School Night is tonight! Please refer to the classroom teacher for specific meeting links and times. Here is a schedule of times for your reference. Back to School Night 7:00 7:30... TK/AMK and 4th 6th Grade Presentations 7:30 8:00 PMK and 1st 3rd Grade Presentations Yearbooks are available for pick up today (9/8) from 9:00 - 12:00. There are still a limited amount of yearbooks available for purchase ($20 cash only). Stop by and pick up the memories today! Grab and go breakfast and lunches are available at many Fremont Unified School District's many school sites. Check out the post on this page for more details. I would like to thank all of our students for their excellent attendance! You are online and on time! Parents, do you have a between 5-6 hours available to volunteer over the course of the school year (5 - 6 one hour meetings)? There are two great volunteer opportunities available. First, we need parent members to serve on School Site Council. Your job would be to assist the school in making budgetary decisions to support a variety of academic and social programs. The second opportunity would be to serve on the English Language Advisory Committee.
